A Letter to The Power That Be?

Few Brits can have missed the recent letter-bomb incidents which have grabbed UK news headlines. After 3-4 years looking at politics I'm so skeptical about anything I see on the news now that it's like water off a duck's back until I check out the counter-arguments from the free press. Those who have watched V for Vendetta more than a couple of times may start to notice just how close to the "propaganda episode" UK TV news now is and the Wachowski Bro's particular shots of "wet droughts" affecting futuristic TV news shows just how perceptive they are of TV propaganda already in circulation,

It now appears that more than just motoring agencies such as the DVLA have been targeted by a recent spate of letter bombs, but the media are focusing mainly on sites such as Crapita which clearly fit the larger propaganda exercise. TV news executives are already hyping the incidences by focusing on one incident without waiting for a bigger pattern to emerge. Yet there's even one private home reported as being targeted.although this doesn't appear to have displaced photos of Crapita from the teatime headlines. It has all the hallmarks of a put up job as far as I can see.

Although Captain G and his crew obviously have some balls they're in a very tiny minority and I'm pretty sure the government doesn't care all that much what they're up to as long as longer-term political plans aren't derailed. So a few Gatsos get blown up, who in the state machinery will care - it's your money, not theirs, they'll just take more off you to replace them. I seriously doubt from the available evidence, anyone in the British public having the bottle to do anything like this unless we are closer to the "End Times" than even I'd want to admit. After centuries of wars, dysgenics and forced emigration the British public are fundamentally to weak, too inert and too stupid to fight their own corner and they wouldn't recognise the real enemy even if they had the barrel of a gun pointed in their face.

However, like all these events it couldn't have happened at a better time for Beliar so I'd put my money on this being another government op when the full picture comes out. Rather like the Spain/Madrid railway incident - where, once the truth came out that the explosives came from a chief in the Spanish bomb squad all interest was already lost and no one really cared about the facts. George Orwell (Eric Blair) really did understand the human psyche when he painted a picture of how propaganda works in 1984.

The British news media are already trotting out the professors and psychology "experts" with Lee-Harvey-Oswald-style "lone nut" conspiracy theories and already profiling the guilty person. No surprise the press already "know" it's a white male "nut", possibly in their 30s, unemployed, unmarried and "a loner". You couldn't make this shit up - its almost a carbon-copy of the V for Vendetta TV propaganda war. Hey, why hire a professor when it's always an unemployed lone white male - at least until reality starts to intervene?.I nearly fell out of my chair this evening laughing - you could have cut and paste video footage from any one of a number of fantasy/action adventure films without seeing the join. But, hey, why stop there? maybe "he" is also a virgin?, has bad breath?, red hair? votes Tory and is ugly to boot?. Does no one in the UK say "bollocks!" when listening to the news any more?

The fearmongering seems to have advanced to the point where everyone across the country should be in fear of what might be lurking inside their letter box.

So, regardless of the usual SWM suspects and adding the theory that it's a quote "disgruntled motorist" - although just to be really sure and cover all the angles, they add that it may be an animal rights extremist too - you can now perm any one from about 6 million suspects. I guess this means we're going to see a whole new raft of terror laws from Teflon Tony?. Anyone want to take this to the bookies - I think it will be easy money.

As an added bonus the newsreaders also claim some of the letters where hand-written - I guess you're looking for a complete dumbass or someone who really IS not quite the full six-pack. True terror against individuals has been the trademark of the state, so it's no surprise to see Peter Power's thumbprint all over this one the same as it was with the 7/7 events. Funny coincidence? I'm not so sure. The signature of a state-sponsored attack the entire point of the attack is thrown away when no credible group claims responsibility or states their political aims. If the public ever get clever enough twig this then you can be sure we will have fake terrorist groups manufactured by MI5 or whoever is behind incidents such as 7/7. Currently, you could say we're protected by our collective stupidity or invincible ignorance.

"Peter Power, the former Scotland Yard anti-terror official and currently head of Visor Consultants, whose company was running inconceivable drills on 7/7 which targeted the same locations at the same time, admitted to the BBC that Visor had been running mail bomb exercises in the past few weeks. Although Power urged a contained reaction to the letter bombs, he also raised the specter of chemical and biological weapons and bizarrely stated that people in their own private homes should now be nervous about opening mail. Checking out the BBC's own published list of targets we can see clearly that this "operation" has been running since January the 18th with it only making the most prominent headline news as soon as there was a potential or "useful" road-user link revealed. The "road" link with Crapita even is speculative as New Labour's favourite capitalist company do a heck of a lot more than just administer the London Congestion Charge and are rapidly moving towards being a UK-equivalent to OCP in any case.

Wire Frame Worlds

I spotted an interesting post here where someone had taken the notion of wire frame modelling from the virtual world of engineering right over into the real world of testing ideas using real steel wire!. Shame about the mindless comments posted to the blog - as the notion of a real wire frame is no more absurd than a computer one given similar restrictions on the model.

The model is probably more accurate than various IPCC "climate change" models being bandied about and must be umpteen times more accurate than the now-discredited MBH "hockey stick" algorithm trashed by McKitrick et. al. I was wondering if the government agencies have teams of spotty kids employed to post stupid comments onto controversial blogs but I discounted it as the spelling, grammar and general reasoning was embarrassingly lax even for Americans.

It just shows that public credulity is endless when it comes to "official" information coming from computers or the "idiot box" (TV) being taken as "gospel" and never called into question. Interesting that one puts an equally simplistic model into a real metal wire frame which is really no better than a simplistic computer model and the protagonists are declared "insane" by the illiterati! Sheesh!

Too Young To Live?

Interesting program tonight on BBC 1, Monday 04 October Time: 9:00pm to 10:00pm (60 mins) Traffic Cops Special: Too Young To Die. According to the TV summary of this BEEB epic...

"Documentary series about South Yorkshire traffic police. Teenage car criminals and illegal off-road bikers put their lives at risk and make life hell for the traffic cops, while a former car thief gives up a life of crime to help his former enemies and ends up being punished by schoolchildren."

With its history of tireless spin and supporting the government in whatever anti-road agenda it currently has to offer What else would you expect the BBC say about bikers but to peddle the same tired old garbage?. Even MAG's own Ian Mutch despaired at how his careful attempts to put forward an accurate view on bike safety were warped and twisted by BBC producers in a recent bike program.

The poignant message lay in the tragic and needless death of a biker riding an under-powered 50cc moped. This rider, was NOT speeding despite early inferences in the program. However, you could have blinked or stirred your coffee and missed the police accident investigator's rather sensible and final conclusion that he was, in fact, riding well within the legal speed limit. Riding, appears, quite slowly when compared to the skid marks left on the car he collided with. Not that the car was to blame .The accident occurred because for some "unexplained" reason he traversed the corner on the wrong side of the road. This would come as no surprise to any biker who has investigated the REAL cause of biker accidents. The truth contrasts wildly with the hype and stereotypical view of deaths being due to SPEEDING "leather clad bikers astride their powerful sports bikes" as The Sun would blurt out. The reality being that bikers are coming out of modern training courses with an dangerous inability to correctly tackle bends at ANY speed over 30mph. Deaths and injuries due to bikers being unable to tackle corners safely appears to be rising at epidemic rates.

Of course its easy for he ignorant armchair critic to simply say "ban bikes" but stop for a second to think how the same accident had turned out had this youngster hit the other car head on had he been driving a car instead of a bike. You would have been looking at a program about several deaths instead of one. However, so much for increased theory testing and wobbling around cones for months on end as a way of instilling real rider skills. What we need are more BikeSafe schemes where experienced and professional riders can show new bike riders practical rather than theoretical skills needed. These being key skills riders of previous generation were lucky enough to learn off road. Yet that avenue is now being progressively closed off by Labour and the anti-road rambling or pedestrian lobbies.

Let us not forget that the BMF came into existence over this very issue under a previous Labour government in the 1960s to lobby on this issue. If riders can't build skills off road from a young age then we, at least, need to compensate by expanding expert rider schemes such as BikeSafe. Why don't we run more schemes like this you may ask?. Well, such schemes are actually folding and closing down due to lack of a few thousand pounds funding at a time when tens of millions of pounds on speed camera revenue is lining the pockets of both the speed camera partnerships and the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Still think the speed camera issue is about saving lives?. Forget it!.

Build a Better Fly Trap?

I am rather tee-ed off with the number of spambots and other automated miscreants surfing the websites I maintain.

Add to that a new problem of commercial "spying" by a UK company from Cambridge called Envisional, which has been continuously downloading copyrighted PDF files from at least one of these sites. (Presumably to monitor for breach of copyright in case they can make a few quid from an action). The fact that continuously downloading large PDF files over and over again could have crashed my website probably doesn't concern them.Their activity is a little bit more sinister, looking at their online manifesto.

Oh yeah? Another private company as a self-appointed net-regulator eh?

I guess that would explain why there's no corresponding webmaster@ account to answer my complaint email then, why they don't advertise an email on their website and why their contact form doesn't work when I tried it. Actually it was amusing as the "back end" showed through and they had the cheek to use a freeware form submission engine - FormMail V1.92 © 1995 - 2002 Matt Wright - A Free Product of Matt's Script Archive, Inc. I just tried the form again as I wrote this entry and it still doesn't work so I guess they aren't going to be getting many complaints then!.

I wonder who monitors their (probably illegal and unauthorised) storage of MY copyrighted materials eh? Who looks after and protects MY digital rights??

Okay I've seen enough. Time to "beef up" up the security and ban some of these muppets and the spambots using a more up-to-date technique. What I was looking for was a way of specifically encouraging, targetting, logging and then banning all malicious activity. Although I'm not an expert with PHP I am a reasonably competent "C" coder so it wasn't hard to knock up some code using bits of BigSam which I also maintain.

The result is a primitive first version of a spambot and general intruder detection system called "FlyTrap". If you run Apache and are having problems you may want to have a look at it and try it out. Step one is tackling the spambots and viruses I will deal with the likes of Envisional later on.

For those who run webservers and may be quite rightly concerned about the numerous companies such as this keeping "tabs" on your server content you may wish to block the following IP addresses reported by WHOIS as assigned to Envisional's server farm. If anyone else knows of other "Big Brother" organisations such as this I'd appreciate an email!. Its worth blocking them as, if you are running on a slow asymmetric link with, say a 64k uplink, then these idiots could take your sever completely offline if they start retrieving large files at regular intervals as they have been doing to me!.

In a short but sweet snipe entitled "Blair Outraged at Commons Invasion", the Eye's Political Staff Writer, John "Sergeant-at-Arms" hits the nail fairly and squarely on the head on the issue of the Fox Hunter's recent protest in the Commons.

TRL, Copyright and Much Ado About Something!

The UK company formerly known as Transport and Research Laboratory (TRL) are commissioned, usually out of public funds (ie. YOUR taxes) to produce road safety reports. Whether this be for the DfT or County Councils.

Unfortunately, when TRL was privatised by the Tories in the 1980's they were allowed to retain full copyright over all of the reports they produced. This, effectively, puts them in the private rather than the public domain for the following reasons.

1) A copyright holder has ABSOLUTE control over how their material is distributed or whether it is distributed AT ALL.

2) Charges can be imposed for copyrighted material which put it out of reach of the general public. Lets face it, what man in the street can afford to pay £40 for a road safety report, let alone the whole bundle they would need to successfully criticise one?.

3) If the material isn't open to ALL then it is definitively NOT in the public domain.

4) TRL have confirmed in writing that although they claim only to charge an administrative fee, they intend to jealously guard copyright by all means possible. The stated restrictions include copies of PDF documents and extensive quoting from TRL material of any kind.

5) Recent changes in patents and copyright laws across the EU (and the rest of the world) are changing copyright breach from a civil into a criminal offence. The Notts MAG stance is that any material which is critical to road safety and particularly that which has been paid either directly or indirectly from the public purse should be freely available to all and NOT subject to restrictive copyrights on distribution.

To this end we have been lobbying our MP, Paddy Tipping (Sherwood) with a view that the government takes this issue seriously. However, it is difficult getting them to see the problem.

Unfortunately the implications are only likely to be recognised should The Labour Party find itself in opposition after the next government. Should this be the case then they will have, effectively, handed an instrument of oppression and a means of silencing criticism and dissent to the new incumbents.

As with Soviet Russia, where photocopy machines were illegal, if you can't copy and disseminate information, newsletters or quote in a critique then you cannot challenge the establishment. If anyone "gets" what we are saying here then please write to your MP and let him or her know how you feel about the issue.

The Fan Man!

Nope, not the astounding work by William Kotzwinkle, man. This time, man, I actually got some fan mail today. But first I must tell you all about it man before I go off in search of chinese brown rice and buy more sheet music...

Well... I think it was fan mail. Not sure come to think of it. My blog has been running at www.amadis.sytes.net for over a year now and despite having an email button I have never actually had anyone click on it until recently when someone asked nicely if they could cite some information. Wow, someone actually wanting to quote my material!. With the added bonus of not calling me an illiterate nincompoop into the bargain. This must be good for my karma, man. How come I feel a bit uneasy about this email (personal contacts removed).

I am sure its as genuine as a Commodore Schmuck cap but you never know, man!.

We seem to have alot in common regarding experiences with many human groups/associations - especially political organisations of the left wing brigade. Very few seem to practise what they preach, and all to often it is nought but the "politics of envy".
Socialism is for me just christian philosophy minus the religious aspect. The left-wing New Agers are trying what the Church tried - force feed us with their crap.

Early British socialism, as founded by Kier Hardy, appears to have been genuine and more moderate. Got hijacked along the way I guess. British freemasonry lodges - and the intelligence services - have also been infiltrated, though just when and how and to what degree is anyone's guess. I have theories but as yet not substantiated. "The Secret History of the Jesuits" by Edmond Paris (via Amazon.co.uk) is another piece in the jigsaw, but it is heavy going - very scholarly, lots of references. Have a copy if you wish to borrow.

Arrived at your site via search terms "occult politics" - more apt I feel than " conspiracy theories" - a term which has awoken every nutball on the planet and a channel for The New World Order to disseminate mis/disinformation.

I was looking for like minds, free thinkers; free of loyalty or bias to existing mainstream/orthodox relgious and political ideologies. As I see it, we have Capitalism and Socialism. Both represent the power of the group at the expense of individual liberties/freedoms. There is no party which ideologically represents, and is accountable to, "we the people.

My wife and I became UKIP members 2 years ago, out of concern of the threat to England from the EU. I was a member several years ago but lapsed after internal leadership wrangling. There were rumours that BNP folk were responsible for the division - I don't know. No doubt there will be those in UKIP there for ulterior motives,
especially now after the European election results. I truly hope that Kilroy is genuine. Time will tell.

For some time now I have been planning an offline newsletter of my own, with the aim of rousing folk re. the EU, focussing on the ancient history and spiritual traditions of these islands, referring as far back as the arrival of the Tuatha De Danaan.
As well as the mundane exoteric aspects it would also have certain esoteric/occult aspects.
UKIP has pressganged me ( I must be a masochist) into looking after, coordinating, local members and supporters (25 and growing). It requires supplying them with a UKIP newsletter plus a covering one of my own, plus maintaining a database register of members/supporters.

My newsletter will include latest news re. the EU, plus a careful, gradual, infusion of occult politics, etc. Yes I would like a website and online newsletter but have only one pair of hands. Going by the experiences of a close friend I would say that what with earning a living your website leaves little or no time for anything else ?

If you and I could find ways and means for mutual cooperation I believe the cause we serve could be greatly advanced. In time I would hope others of like mind would also come aboard.

If you are interested in the idea of mutual cooperation then perhaps a meeting somewhere would be appropriate ? It would enable me to explain more fully what I have in mind, and for us both to ask relevant questions. One cannot get a true feeling about folk - positive/negative -via email.
